Aylesbury Vale District Council’s refuse and recycling crews collected refuse and recycling from most of the households due today (Friday, 18 December), but it was not possible to collect from some of the minor roads and outlying properties due to the snowy conditions.

Working throughout the morning to make it safe, AVDC will be re-opening the top floor of the Civic Centre car park by 1pm today. AVDC apologises for the delay in opening this floor, but the overnight extreme freezing temperatures made it difficult to grit effectively.
