A wide range of fresh produce will be on offer during the day.
Shoppers can grab some last minute Christmas goodies at a festive market in Aylesbury town centre next week.
Local producers will be out in force at the Christmas Farmers’ Market on Tuesday 22 December.
A wide range of fresh produce and festive entertainment will be on offer during the day.
The event, organised by Aylesbury Vale District Council, is expected to attract crowds of people doing last minute shopping in time for Christmas.
A mouth-watering range of local food will be on sale, from honey and bread, to cheeses, meats and fresh fruit and vegetables.
As it’s almost Christmas, there’ll be free entertainment as well, including face painting, crafts and live music.
Councillor Kevin McPartland, Cabinet Member for Civic Amenities, said: “Come along and stock up on quality food for your Christmas table or a tasty festive gift. Bring the family for a great day out and enjoy the atmosphere and free entertainment.”
The Christmas Farmers’ Market will be held in Market Square on Tuesday 22 December from 9am until 2pm. The free music and activities start at 10am.
The well-established Farmers’ Market is on the fourth Tuesday of every month and has a wide range of local produce on offer. For further information, visit www.aylesburyvaledc.gov.uk or call 01295 585880.
