Free swimming for under 8s during London 2012 Open Weekend

Stoke Mandeville Stadium is offering free swimming for the under 8s on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 July.

With former Olympic swimming gold medallist, Adrian Moorhouse, living in Bucks it seems particularly appropriate to encourage more young hopefuls, with free swimming for under 8s at Stoke Mandeville Stadium during the weekend of 25th and 26th July. Free swimming for under 8s is just one of the hundreds of activities taking place as part of the London 2012 Open Weekend supported by BP.

Bucks Sport, in collaboration with Stoke Mandeville Stadium, is using this weekend as a further opportunity to get young people excited about the forthcoming Games. Free swimming for under 8s is offered as part of “Make a Splash”, a programme of water-based activities organised by Bucks Sport.

With Bucks having a unique role to play in the hosting of the London 2012 Olympic & Paralympic Games, Bucks Sport is working to ensure everyone can share in the excitement of the Games, be inspired to get involved and, above all, enjoy keeping fit and active.
