Love Your Market day is on 7 November

Come and have a cushty time with a ‘Del Boy’ Trotter look-a-like at the Love Your Market day in Aylesbury town centre on 7 November.

TV’s best known street trader is taking a break from Peckham market to visit Aylesbury to entertain and delight shoppers.

There will also be face painting, stilt walking, and the chance to get a 10 per cent discount on all purchases over £5 at the town’s regular market.

Diana Fawcett, Aylesbury's Joint Town Centre Manager, said: “We hope as many people as possible come along to join in the fun on Love Your Market day. The event will showcase the markets and promote the variety of stalls on offer.

“As well as being good value, the markets trade fresh and varied produce, with most items being readily available. The traders themselves love to chat and will happily advise you about your purchases.”

Aylesbury’s regular market is held every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday in the Market Square, and is augmented with a flea market every Tuesday. The well-established farmers’ market is on the fourth Tuesday of every month and has a wide range of local produce and different promotions each month.

Throughout the year there are also continental markets at regular intervals – the next is scheduled for the weekend of 12 and 13 December.
