Archived press release

Date Published: 16/02/10

A range of activities have been planned for children and young people in Aylesbury over the half-term holidays.

The Aylesbury Town Centre Partnership is hosting a free school holiday event in Kingsbury on Thursday 18 February.

From 11am to 3pm, there will be various activities including a climbing wall, bungee trampolines, a giant slide and face painting.

Aylesbury’s Town Centre Manager, Diana Fawcett, said: “We’ve got a great range of free activities on offer during the day and I’m sure children and young people will not be disappointed. I hope as many youngsters in the town as possible will take the chance to come along and enjoy what’s on offer.”

There will be free activities in Aylesbury town centre on every Thursday of the school holidays in 2010. An Easter Treasure Hunt, Inflatable Fun Day and a World Cup Football Frenzy are just some of the events planned.

A guide to the free events happening in the town centre until the end of the year is available from a wide variety of sources including libraries, local shops and the main shopping centres. Copies of the guide can also be downloaded by following the link below.
