The result of the by-election for the Buckingham South ward of Buckingham Town Council held on Thursday 11 March was as follows:

Candidate
• Lisa O’Donoghue
The Independent candidate received 439 votes and was ELECTED
• Alfred May
The UK Independence Party candidate received 222 votes

Lisa O’Donoghue was elected as town councillor for the ward. The turnout was 16.2 per cent.
