Visitors to Aylesbury will be able to enjoy a traditional North African shopping experience when a Tunisian Bazaar arrives in the town centre this week.
Stunning jewellery, leather goods and hand crafted pottery, glassware and ceramics are some of the items available to buy from the Tunisian Souk Market.
The market will be held in the Kingsbury area between Thursday 20 and Saturday 22 May, from 9am until 5pm.
Entertainment will be provided by local belly dancing groups on Saturday.
Ridha Essalah, Managing Director of World Wide Markets and Events, said: “This lively Mediterranean Tunisian Souk event will be arriving in the town bringing life and warmth to the heart of the centre. This special event will run for three days starting on Thursday.”
Diana Fawcett, Aylesbury Town Centre Manager, added: “We are delighted to be hosting a worldwide market. The Tunisian market is a brand new experience for the town which will add a Mediterranean flavour to our ongoing events programme. Events like these are an exciting shopping and leisure complement to our existing traders and businesses, through adding vibrancy, choice and vitality to the town. This is closely followed by our new free summer music programme, incorporating different live bands and music, every Sunday from 23 May until 5 September running from 11.30am until 2pm in the town centre.”
