Applications for tickets to the Paralympic Flame Lighting Ceremony at Stoke Mandeville Stadium are now open.
People from Buckinghamshire can apply for tickets to the ceremony which takes place on Tuesday 28 August.
This prestige event will commence at 4.30pm with a number of exciting performances, presentations and inspirational speeches. The evening will then close with the celebration of the four flames that have been lit in London, Edinburgh, Cardiff and Belfast coming together to make one flame. The flame will then start it’s 24hour relay to the Olympic Stadium for the opening ceremony.
3,000 invited guests will attend the ceremony at Stoke Mandeville Stadium. Among these guests is the opportunity for the public to be a part of this fantastic occasion, and experience what is set to have an unbelievable atmosphere.
Ticket application details
Members of the public can now apply for tickets online (see link below).
The tickets are allocated free of charge. People who are successful with their application will be notified before the event. People without a ticket will not be permitted to attend so don’t hang about, get involved.
