The district councils in Buckinghamshire are asking for comments on a new strategy that sets out their position on housing tenancies.
All local authorities have to publish a tenancy strategy by January 2013. The strategy sets out guidance that registered providers (organisations such as housing associations) must take account of when formulating their own policies about the tenancies they offer.
The four district councils in Buckinghamshire (Aylesbury Vale, Chiltern, South Bucks and Wycombe) have worked on a joint tenancy strategy. They are keen to get comments from housing associations and voluntary organisations, as well as members of the public who have an interest in tenancy issues.
Consultation on the strategy runs until 2 September 2012. The strategy can be found online by clicking on the link below.
