Land off Moreton Road, Buckingham was allocated for residential development in the Aylesbury Vale District Local Plan, which was adopted in January 2004. Subsequent to this, a development brief, which provides a structured framework for development across the site, was approved  following public consultation in November 2005. The approved development brief required the submission of design codes.

Following on from the development brief, the council has now agreed the design codes, which will be used as a basis for establishing design standards throughout the development of this site.

The design codes document is available to download below, or alternatively is available for inspection at the Buckingham Area Office, 15 Cornwall Place, Buckingham, and in the Customer Service Centre at 66 High Street, Aylesbury.

Copies of the design codes are also available to purchase at £2 each plus postage.
