Update on Vale of Aylesbury Plan

Vale of Aylesbury Plan Public Consultation - Housing and Employment Ranges and Housing Distribution Options

This consultation will focus on the number of new homes and jobs and location of homes for the district over the next 20 years. This has been informed by the Housing and Economic Growth Assessment study and a Sustainability Appraisal, which is also being consulted upon at the same time.

The consultation will commence Thursday 1st December 2011, running for 8 weeks until Thursday 26th January 2012. The decision to go out to consultation was approved by cabinet on 8th November 2011.

The consultation will look at two issues, firstly the overall level of new jobs and homes that should be planned for and secondly the broad distribution of where new homes should be located.

A consultation document will be produce and an online survey will be available. Three drop-in sessions will also be held in January, at Aylesbury, Buckingham and Winslow.
