Aylesbury Vale Landscape Character Assessment (May 2008)
The Aylesbury Vale Landscape Character Assessment has been undertaken by Jacobs Babtie on behalf of AVDC and Bucks CC. The study identifies 13 landscape character types in the district, within which 79 landscape character areas are identified.
The study covers the whole of Aylesbury Vale district and will supersede previous landscape character assessment at this level.
The assessment is suitable for a wide range of applications both during the local development framework process and subsequently in the application of new planning policies and to inform numerous landscape, biodiversity and land management activities in other spheres.
