Habitats Regulations Assessment/ Appropriate Assessment Stage 1 Screening
Aylesbury Vale District Council’s Habitats Regulations Assessment/Appropriate Assessment considers the Core Strategy policies and allocations against Special Protection Areas (SPA’s) within the Local Planning Area, and also those that are outside of the District boundary but are considered to be close to proposed development and therefore have the potential to be impacted. It should be noted that there are no SPA’s relevant to this Appropriate Assessment. The Special Areas of Conservation (SAC) which form part of this Appropriate Assessment are the Chiltern Beechwoods, and more specifically four sites within the Chiltern Beechwoods SAC:
- Ashridge Common and Woods SSSI
- Ellesborough and Kimble Warrens SSSI
- Tring Woodlands SSSI
- Windsor Hill SSSI.
In addition this report will also consider the impact on the Aston Rowant SAC.
The results of the report and full assessment can be downloaded below.
