Review of Rural Settlement Hierarchy

This report identifies the current role of settlements: carrying out an audit of facilities and services, population, access to public transport services and employment sites.

It provides background evidence to the core strategy development plan document.

It investigates whether the arrangement of settlements set out previously (in the Aylesbury Vale District Local Plan 2004 and core strategy preferred options 2007) is still valid or whether it should be revised for the core strategy proposed submission 2009.
