We have commissioned a viability assessment as part of the process of considering the infrastructure needed to support the level of housing and employment growth at Aylesbury.
In this case, the term viability means the likelihood that the growth proposals will be able to be delivered from a financial point of view. This means assessing whether the scale of development is capable of generating sufficient funding to cover all the various costs and developer’s profits.
The aim of the report is to:
- look at the viability of the growth arc proposals
- to inform the Council, for their consideration, on the factors and risks that influence viability and
- to identify any significant differences between the viability of the three options for growth, (which were consulted on in the Direction of Growth public consultation which took place in late 2008). The report, therefore, investigates the relative viability based on the information available to date.
The report can be downloaded by following the link below.
Deliverability Assessment
To support the Examination into the Core Strategy a Summary Assessment of all sites considered for further expansion of Aylesbury by the examination has been created. This can be downloaded below.
