Aylesbury allocated sites preferred options
The Aylesbury allocated sites development plan document was intended to identify the sites and requirements for new housing, employment and mixed use at Aylesbury.
The preferred options consultation on the core strategy and Aylesbury allocated sites development plan documents took place in July/August 2007. The purpose of this stage was to identify our preferred policy approach and ask for comments on this.
Since the publication of the preferred options, it has been decided that we will no longer be preparing a separate Aylesbury allocated sites document due to changed government guidance. Strategic allocations at Aylesbury will now be made in the core strategy, and non-strategic allocations will be made in the allocated sites document.
Published alongside the preferred options document was a sustainability appraisal report, which highlights the main impacts of the preferred options, and describes how these can be reduced.
We have now produced reports on the responses to the preferred options consultation. We will take all comments into account, along with further background work and evidence gathering.
