Supplementary planning documents
Supplementary Planning Documents (SPDs) provide additional detail on issues that need amplification. They are not subject to independent examination as development plan documents are, but they are subject to similar processes in terms of consultation and adoption.
The following SPDs are adopted and form part of the Aylesbury Vale Local Development Framework:
Conservation Areas SPD – Adopted on 4th March 2011
Affordable Housing SPD - Adopted on 23rd November 2007
The role of the Conservation Areas SPD is to set out additional interpretation of development control policies and our methodology for conservation area appraisal/designation, management statements and additional guidance on managing development in conservation areas.
The Affordable Housing SPD has been prepared to provide guidance to housing developers and other interested parties about the interpretation and application of our affordable housing policies.
More information on the Conservation Areas SPD and Affordable Housing SPD can be found by clicking the link on the left.
