Sustainability appraisal

Sustainability appraisal is a way of making sure that the policies and plans in the Local Development Framework (LDF) meet the aims of sustainable development. In other words, making sure that economic progress is balanced with social and environmental needs.

The scoping report sets out how we intend to appraise the LDF documents.
