On the 8th September 2010 the Council will be considering a recommendation to withdraw the Core Strategy from the examination process (subject to Secretary of State Direction); this report will be available from 26th August 2010. This is an interim sustainability appraisal and strategic environmental assessment (SA/SEA) to accompany the proposed submission Core Strategy  that was considered at Cabinet and Council meetings in April/May 2009.  

This is the latest sustainability appraisal and strategic environmental assessment (SA/SEA) which provides an assessment of the proposed submission Core Strategy taking into account the evidence and Core Strategy document considered by Cabinet in April and May 2009. A final SA/SEA will be published for the final Proposed Submission Core Strategy (which will take into account any amendments approved by Cabinet and Council in April/May 2009) this final SA/SEA will be published in June 2009. 

The SA/SEA is made up of six documents. Below are the main report, Appendix 2, Appendix 4, Appendix 5 and Appendix 6. Appendix 1 is the Scoping Report that was undertaking at the outset of the production of the Core Strategy and in advance of the first Sustainability Appraisal of the Core Strategy. Appendix 3 is the sustainability appraisal report for the Preferred Options Sustainability Appraisal June 2007 (Carter Jonas). This report is made up of two parts The Core strategy and Final SA and Aylesbury Allocated Sites Final SA.
