The Local Development Scheme (LDS) sets out the timetable for producing a new planning policy document for the district called the Vale of Aylesbury Plan (VAP). The LDS covers the period 2011 until 2014.
The key stages are:
• Public involvement in preparing VAP stage 1: December 2011 – January 2012
• Public involvement in preparing VAP stage 2: September – October 2012
• Submission document published for comment: June – July 2013
• Submission to Secretary of State: September 2013
• Commencement of Examination Hearings – December 2013
• Adoption and publication – February 2014
We have revised the LDS following withdrawal of the Core Strategy and other expected changes to the planning system. The revised LDS has been approved by the Secretary of State and is now available to download below.
