Schools recycling

Aylesbury Vale District Council and Buckinghamshire County Council offer a range of recycling and waste/environmental education services to Aylesbury Vale schools. Has your school signed up for FREE recycling collections?

We are committed to promoting waste reduction and recycling in our schools, so offer a free recycling collection service.  Schools can choose to recycle paper, plastic and cans, and glass, in a variety of containers to suit your needs.

Please contact 01296 585862 for more details or to request the service. Alternatively click here to download an information sheet.

By adopting a recycling policy in your school you are helping to raise awareness of the importance of reducing the amount of waste we all produce. Waste education is an essential part of helping our communities foster a positive attitude to waste and develop good recycling habits. Joining the service is an ideal opportunity for you to introduce your students to recycling, waste management and sustainable development.

Download Posters

There are several FREE posters for schools to download to raise awareness and provide reminders of recycling in the school.  Go to the download page here.
