When you use the scheme for the first time you will be asked to follow 4 easy steps:
- Fill out a membership form
- Provide us with 1 form of identification which must have your address on. Examples of the type of identification that you may provide are:
- Driving licence
- Rent card/book
- Utility bill
- Bank statement
- A letter from a company/service
- Complete a safety check on our equipment. Full training and advice is given on vehicle useage.
- Sign our terms and conditions
You will also need to provide us with a passport sized photograph.
Although there is no charge for the Shopmobility service, Shopmobility relies on donations to help buy extra equipment that can be used by all of our customers. We have a donation box in our office and we ask that members consider donating the equivalent parking fee when using the scheme. There is also a £20 returnable deposit when hiring out vehicles on long term hire.
