Using our service

If you wish to become a member it couldn't be easier.  We simply need your details, proof of identity (e.g. house bill etc..) and a photo, and even if this is a problem, we have a camera on the premises.  We will then give you full training on the use of our equipment, which are very easy to use.  When you feel confident you are free to go and enjoy your day. 

When you use the scheme for the first time you will be asked to follow 4 easy steps:

  1. Provide our team with your details so that they may set up your membership on our computer system. 
  2. Provide us with 1 form of identification which must have your address on. Examples of the type of identification that you may provide are: 
    - Driving licence 
    - Rent card/book 
    - Utility bill 
    - Bank statement 
    - A letter from a company/service  
  3. Complete a safety check on our equipment. Full training and advice is given on vehicle useage.
  4. Sign our terms and conditions 

You will also need to provide us with a passport sized photograph (although as mentioned above we can take your photograph if this is a problem).

Shopmobility is a free service, fully funded by Aylesbury Vale District Council.  For those wishing to make a contribution to the running of the service, a tin is available at the Shopmobility reception.
