We continue to offer taxi tokens as an alternative to a bus pass, if you are physically unable to use a bus service or live in a parish without a regular bus service, and do not have access to your own private transport.
You can apply for travel tokens if you have reached the qualifying age for state pension credit, (refer to the eligibility chart in the information sheet below), or if you have a disability.
£90 worth of tokens can be obtained, for use from 1 April 2013 until 31 March 2014. If you apply later in the year £45 of tokens can be obtained, from 1 October 2013 until 31 March 2014.
We will ask you for proof of eligibility and residency. You may not be eligible for taxi tokens if you have access to your own private transport.
You can apply for Taxi tokens by filling in the downloadable form below. You must apply in person and take the application form, proof of eligibility and residency to one of the council offices in Aylesbury, Winslow or Buckingham.
