Important notices about Public Access:
There is an intermittent technical fault when trying to access Word documents from PublicAccess.
A ‘certificate warning error’ may appear if using Microsoft Office 2010 with Internet Explorer 10 (and older versions). If you get this error, please click ‘OK’ and the file will open as normal.
If you are using newer versions on Internet Explorer (or Chrome or Firefox) and Microsoft Office 2013 you will not see the error.
We are looking into the fault and will resolve as soon as we can. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.
Timing out facility
For Data Protection and security reasons, there is currently a time-out facility set up of approximately 2 hours when entering comments. If you believe your comments will take longer than this to enter, we advise you to type them up in a separate document (ie Word), copy the text and paste into the comments box, add your details and submit.
Please see our guide on how to make your comments.
Important Information on Hampden Fields – 16/00424/AOP
Due to the high volume of representations received to our office today, it is unlikely that you will be able to view your comments on our website for sometime. When comments are received in this way we aim to complete this task as soon as possible but is dependent on our resource.
We hope you can appreciate the work involved in processing each comment when sent to us in hard copy rather than using our online service. I can assure you the planning support team are working hard to process as quickly as possible.
If you wish to make a public comment, please feel free to use our online service. Any comments made online are viewable instantly by the public and all confidential information is redacted electronically, manual intervention is not required. These are automatically uploaded individually and in date order.
Thank you for your patience.
