The 2009 awards were presented by Councillor Janet Blake, Chairman of the Council. The ceremony was sponsored by Waddesdon, AVA, HS&P and Savills.

The projects were designed by Jacobs and built by Birse Civils for Buckinghamshire County Council. |

Boycott Farm Shop, StoweCommended as a good renovation of a redundant agricultural building to a successful rural business use.This Grade II, stone built, listed barn has been sympathetically converted to a farm shop, tea room and kitchen.

Old Barn Cottage, HaddenhamCommended for a combination of building and garden design which has created a very strong and memorable sense of place.The existing witchert barn was partially rebuilt and extended to provide an annex to the main house and the surrounding garden was redesigned.
