Winner of Design Award Plaque for outstanding design

A large and techologically advanced dairy facility with a unique coloured cladding to ensure that it blends with the landsape. The building has acheived BREEM Excellent for sustainability.

Cuddington and Dinton Church of England School, Dinton

Winner of the Design Awards plaque for outstanding design


A new school building to replace the previous one damaged by fire. A contemporary building providing a new hall and library of inspiration together with improvements to the existing Victorian School.

Contemporary House nr. Long Crendon

Winner of the Design Awards plaque for outstanding design

A hillside house designed to be sustainable, architecturally uplifting and respect the landscape. It is at ease within its environment and takes advantage of the panoramic views which surround the plot.

Maids Moreton Hall Maids Moreton

Highly Commended

Careful extension and restoration of the existing delapidated hall to provide 60 older residents with a luxurious lifestyle. The character of the existing hall has been maintained together with connections to surrounding landscaped grounds.

A contemporary home which makes good use of the canal side location and respects the form of the Gospel Hall which formerly occupied the site.

The Walled Gardens, Cublington

Commended

The conversion of a group of disused barns and stables which together with four sympathic new buildings provide six new homes set at the end of a an avenue of lime trees.

Prebend House, Buckingham

The sensitive restoration of the Grade II listed building from a state of poor repair to provide modern, high quality accommodation for the University.

Akeley Wood School, Akeley

Commended

A new block of 16 classrooms to replace temporary accommodation. The new building was designed to respect the surrounding listed buildings and adjacent trees.
