Making information available to the public
Buckinghamshire Council has adopted the Information Commissioner's Model Publication Scheme, which commits us to make information available to the public as part of our normal business activities.
Our Publication Scheme relates to the information available on our public website (www.aylesburyvaledc.gov.uk), which includes the online Public Access system for planning applications.
The website’s A to Z index serves as a guide to the information covered by the scheme and that can therefore be found on the website.
The search function can also be useful for locating specific documents.
In exceptional circumstances some information may only be available to view in person. If you are unsure whether the information you require can only be viewed in person please contact the Buckinghamshire Council IT Division using the contact details at the end of this page.
Written requests for information not in the publications scheme
Information held by a public authority that is not published under this scheme can be requested in writing. We will consider your request in accordance with the Freedom of Information (FOI) Act and the Environmental Information Regulations (EIR).
If you have any questions or require assistance in locating the information you require, please contact us.
Further information can also be found on the Information Commissioner’s website.
