Aylesbury Vale Strategic Flood Risk Assessment - Technical Update (2021)

The 2021 technical update has been prepared  to update the SFRA for the latest technical information on flood risk mapping and what has changed for major sites since the 2017 SFRA level 2 was produced. The report was prepared in consultation with the Environment Agency and lead local flood authority.

Level 1 SFRA

The SFRA Level 1 has considered all sources of flooding including fluvial, surface water, groundwater, sewers and reservoir within the study area and identified the constraints to all potential sites being considered for allocation in the Vale of Aylesbury Local Plan and whether or not they need a Level 2 detailed assessment.

 

Level 2 SFRA

Level 2 summary sheets have been prepared for each site, setting out detailed flood risk information from all sources and making an assessment for the requirements for the Exception Test, flood risk assessments and site design should these sites pass the Sequential Test.
