WhizzFizzFest is back and bigger than ever!
Following on from last year’s tremendous success, WhizzFizzFest will be brimming with exciting celebrity author guests, engaging county-wide workshops and the ever-popular giant puppet parade of local school children through the town centre.
With many ticketed and free events to attend, the family-friendly festival will offer returning favourites and new and exciting things to see and do, all helping to shape the day into another spectacular celebration of children’s art and literature.
Konnie Huq will be headlining the event and festival-goers can expect non-stop comedy fun with the author, broadcaster and former Blue Peter presenter!
Horrible Histories illustrator Martin Brown will be hosting an interactive and fun-filled event
As well as our whizztastic authors, we've got even more family fun lined up for festival day, with a fizztastic opportunity to create new words with an interactive performance inspired by Roald Dahl’s Rotsome & Repulsant Words! Taking place at the beautiful and historic St Mary’s Church, don’t miss out on your tickets to get creative with fact-tastic shows, live draw-alongs, brain busting quizzes and games galore!
Tickets will go on sale on World Book Day (Thursday 5th March)
