Aylesbury Vale District Council (AVDC) has been shortlisted for the ‘Transforming Through Technology’ award at the iESE Public Sector Transformation Awards 2018.
AVDC’s shortlisting is in recognition of their ground-breaking five-year technology plan called ‘Connected Knowledge’, which focuses on ensuring customers continue to have the best possible experience by providing a digital programme that’s more efficient, flexible and better value for money.
"This shortlisting is excellent news for AVDC, as it recognises our commitment to transforming our organisation through innovative digital approaches. These include our webchat service, our voice-powered Alexa app and our awarding-winning MyAccount online service,” commented Neil Blake, Leader of AVDC.
He added, “The introduction of these innovative ideas have helped make AVDC financially sustainable and protected valued services.”
The winners will be announced at the awards evening on Tuesday 6 March, which takes place at Church House in London.
