Foodie Fridays

Aylesbury Market will open as usual over the Easter period, enabling visitors to the town centre to enjoy a wide range of arts and crafts, food, and general stalls.

The Foodie Friday Market, open from 9am to 3.30pm, has a fantastic choice of street food, including Greek, Italian, Afro-Caribbean, jerk chicken, vegan food, Asian fusion, Indian and much more. The market also offers fresh fish from Lowestoft, joints of meat from a local butcher, a great selection of fruit and vegetables, and locally made breads and pastries to help out with that special meal for Easter Sunday, which this year falls on 21 April.

On Easter Saturday, the market opens at 9am with a range of chocolate delights and Easter eggs for those last-minute purchases. In addition, there’ll be a range of stunning plants available to keep gardeners happy and busy during the bank holiday weekend.

While in the town centre, visitors can take their kids to the Odeon Cinema, Aqua Vale swimming pool, Roald Dahl Children’s Gallery, Bucks County Museum or the newly-opened Aylesbury Escape Rooms.

Diana Fawcett, Aylesbury Town Centre & Regeneration Manager, commented:
