Pick up your perfect summer read at Aylesbury Market’s brand new event.
Browse new and second hand books, meet local authors, talk to fellow bookworms and enjoy the live music as booklovers are invited to join the weekly Vintage and Craft Bazaar!
The Booklovers event runs from 9am until 2pm on Tuesday 16 June. Waterstones and Dead Universe will be there on the day, alongside Age UK and Oxfam who will be glad to take donations of any books you have read and loved and want to send to a new home.
The event joins the popular Vintage and Craft Bazaar, which launched in May 2014 and has gone from strength to strength, featuring a wide range of hand-crafted items, antiques, vintage and retro items and collectables.
Aylesbury Town Centre Manager, Diana Fawcett, said: “Summer is almost here, so now is the perfect time to pick up a new read for the beach or the garden, or to find a new bedtime story for the kids. With stalls from local authors as well as bookshops, this is a great opportunity for bookworms to meet like-minded people and swap recommendations, as well as enjoying all that the Vintage and Craft Bazaar has to offer.”
