Buckinghamshire Council invited members of the public to voice their views on the proposal to designate the parish of Weston Turville as a "neighbourhood area".
Weston Turville Parish Council submitted an application to AVDC (now Buckinghamshire Council) to designate the parish as a neighbourhood area with a view to developing a neighbourhood plan.
Neighbourhood plans are a key part of the government's localism agenda to give local people more of a say on issues like where new homes, shops and offices should be built, and the design of new developments.
One of the first steps in developing a neighbourhood plan is that the parish council has to apply to the district council to be designated as a neighbourhood area.
AVDC (now Buckinghamshire Council) invited comments on the application, particularly from those living or working in the area, during a four week public consultation.
Public consultation on the boundary of the proposed neighbourhood area started on 6 July 2015 and ran until 3 August 2015.
To see the detailed maps of the proposed neighbourhood areas please visit the neighbourhood planning web page. Alternatively, residents can see all the relevant information at our Gateway office.
Any comments on the Weston Turville neighbourhood area application can be sent electronically via email or posted to the following address: Buckinghamshire Council Forward Plans, The Gateway, Gatehouse Road Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire HP19 8FF.
