Aylesbury town centre’s hugely popular Santa’s Sunday parade returned on Sunday 25 November, bringing festive cheer to thousands of visitors.
The parade was the biggest and best to date, with over 350 people taking part in the parade, including unicyclists, local dance groups, professional entertainers, local sport clubs, businesses and organisations, cheerleaders, roller skating snowmen and Christmas puddings, and of course, the fabulous Santa Claus travelling in style in a stunning 1920s Rolls Royce.
Comments from visitors included:
- “This was a terrific community event with superb organisation.”
- “It’s times like these that make us realise we live in a really nice place.”
Diana Fawcett, Aylesbury Town Centre & Regeneration Manager, said:
“I would like to say a huge thank you to the wonderful parade attendees who never fail to amaze us with the effort they contribute to the success of the parade. Also, thank you to all the people who came out to celebrate Santa’s Sunday and supported the town.”
