WhizzFizzFest returns with a bang in 2018

Aylesbury Vale District Council (AVDC) is excited to announce the return of Aylesbury’s
WhizzFizzFest, taking place on Saturday 30 June.


The exuberant cast of Aylesbury Waterside Theatre’s Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs production
were on hand to make the announcement – oh yes they were! With the theme of Magic and Mystery,
the day with be choc-full of exciting celebrity author guests, engaging workshops and the famous
giant puppet parade of school children through the town centre. The day itself will be a spectacular
celebration of children’s art and literature, with many events free to attend.


AVDC Councillor Angela Macpherson, Cabinet Member for Communities, said: “Last year’s
Whizzfizzing Festival drew fantastic crowds into Aylesbury and really helped to build on our fantastic community spirit. This year’s event is building up to be even bigger and better and we can’t wait to be
able to announce the line-up for WhizzFizzFest 2018.


“Our organising committee has been working hard behind the scenes to bring a bit of magic and
mystery to Aylesbury so be sure to look out for a special announcement mid-January bearing more
exciting news and revealing one of our celebrity guests.”


Full details including further special guests and ticketing will be released on World Book Day, 1
March.
