Pet shop licences

You will need a pet shop licence if you keep animals to sell as pets.

You don’t need a pet shop licence if you only keep pedigree animals which you breed, or you sell the offspring of an animal you keep as a pet (though you may need a dog breeding licence).

You must not be disqualified from operating a pet shop, keeping an animal boarding establishment, keeping a dog or having custody of animals.

How do I apply?
