Planning and building control

**Planning and Building Control service update during the coronavirus crisis**

As Coronavirus (Covid-19) continues to impact on all aspects of our daily lives, our planning and building control officers are now working remotely. This will have some implications for how we operate . We wish to re-assure you that we are doing all that we can to help maintain an appropriate level of service at this time in accordance with government guidelines.

How you can help us during this time

Contacting the planning and building control service

General enquiries should be made through our existing on-line systems or by email. Officers can be contacted by e mail and planning enforcement enquiries should be made through the website in the normal way.

You can find further details on how to do this in the planning section or the  the Building Control  sections of the website

Local Validation List for Buckinghamshire Council

A new Local Validation List has been created for the Buckinghamshire Council, this will affect all planning applications received by the new authority on and after 1 April 2020.

These changes include clearer descriptions of the documents we require for validation, updated guidance, and best practice examples.

You can view the Validation List, now represented as a table, on Consultation: Buckinghamshire Council Local Validation List.
