Wendover Neighbourhood Plan

With the agreement of the Wendover Parish Council, Mr Andrew S Freeman BSc (Hons) DipTP DipEM FRTPI has been appointed to examine the plan. In accordance with Regulation 17 of The Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012 the submitted plan and all relevant documentation has been made available to the Examiner. AVDC has now received the Independent Examiners report on the Wendover Neighbourhood Plan. He decided that a public hearing was not necessary and has recommended that the Plan proceed to referendum with some small modifications. AVDC has made the decision to accept the examiners report and the Neighbourhood Plan will proceed to referendum which will take place on 30 January 2020. General information for voters and an information statement can be viewed here.

Wendover Neighbourhood Plan Publication

After many months of hard work and community engagement, Wendover Parish Council submitted it's final version of the Wendover Neighbourhood Development Plan. As the local authority we undertook a six week publication period to provide an opportunity for all parties to comment on the submitted proposals before the plan goes to examination. The consultation commenced on Monday 1 July and closed at 5pm on Monday 12 August 2019.

What is the Wendover Neighbourhood Plan

The Wendover Neighbourhood Plan (WNP) is the emerging development plan for the Wendover Neighbourhood Area, covering the same area as the Parish, for the plan period of 2019 to 2033. On adoption it will form part of the Development Plan, which planning applications in that area will be assessed against. The WNP does not propose allocations for development but instead provides policies for guiding and directing sustainable development in the parish.
