After many months of hard work and community engagement, Wendover Parish Council has now submitted it's final version of the Wendover Neighbourhood Development Plan. As the local authority we are now required to undertake a six week publication period to provide an opportunity for all parties to comment on the submitted proposals before the plan goes to examination. The consultation commenced on Monday 1 July and will close at 5pm on Monday 12 August 2019.
What is the Wendover Neighbourhood Plan
The Wendover Neighbourhood Plan (WNP) is the emerging development plan for the Wendover Neighbourhood Area, covering the same area as the Parish, for the plan period of 2019 to 2033. On adoption it will form part of the Development Plan, which planning applications in that area will be assessed against. The WNP does not propose allocations for development but instead provides policies for guiding and directing sustainable development in the parish.

How to Comment on the Plan
Comments can be made electronically or in writing by the following means:

- In writing: posted to Neighbourhood Planning Officer, Planning Policy, AVDC, The Gateway, Gatehouse Road, Aylesbury HP19 8FF
Please Note: If sending comments by post please allow up to two working days for the post to be delivered. Any comments received after the 5pm deadline on Monday 12 August 2019, will not be taken into account unless accepted by the Examiner. Additionally you can request to be notified of AVDC's decision to make the plan (under regulation 19 of the Neighbourhood Planning Act 2012) once an examination and referendum has taken place.
Please do not send duplicate comments (electronic or in writing) and please ensure that comments are received by the Council before 5pm on Monday 12 August 2019.
We need your information so that we can perform out statutory role of our duty to support neighbourhood planning. This entails the undertaking of the Regulation 16. Submission consultation. This invites members of the public to comment on the plan. The representations made on the plan will then be collected. Only the names and comments will be made publically availoable and all other personal data will be redacted. The document containing the list of representation will then subsequently be re-contacting consultees when the examiners report is issued to notify them of the examination outcome. All consultees have the right to request that their personal data be deleted from our records at any time.

Following the period for comment, we will collate the responses and submit them to an independent examiner for the Neighbourhood Plan to be examined.
