What types of building work will not require listed building consent ?

Building work which does not require listed building consent is listed below.

 

  • Maintenance / 'like for like' repairs
  • Changing the use of a room
  • Re-wiring
  • Central heating
  • Painting

Works which do not require listed building consent may still require planning permission or building regulation consent.
